DPF Solutions
Mobile DPF Solutions
A blocked diesel particulate filter causes warning lights, limp mode and poor performance — but forcing a regeneration without finding the cause rarely keeps it away. Our DPF solutions begin with a proper diagnosis of why the filter blocked in the first place.
Depending on the diagnosis we can run a software-initiated forced regeneration with live temperature monitoring, provide a DPF software solution, or advise the most cost-effective approach. Because a sooty EGR valve is often part of why a filter keeps blocking, we also handle EGR deletes where the diagnosis points that way. Every job is backed by our 100% guaranteed fix and lifetime warranty.
- Full diagnosis of why the DPF blocked
- Software-initiated forced regeneration with live monitoring
- DPF software solutions where appropriate
- Honest advice — not just a regen and hope

The Problem
Why a DPF Blocks, and Why It Keeps Coming Back
A particulate filter is designed to clean itself. When it stops managing that, there is always a reason — and finding it is the difference between a fix and a fortnight’s reprieve.
The filter traps soot, then burns it off in a regeneration cycle that needs a hot, steady motorway run to complete. Vehicles that live on short hops — deliveries, school runs, town work — interrupt the cycle over and over, and the soot load creeps up until the warning light arrives. But mileage pattern is only half the story: a lazy EGR valve feeding extra soot forward, a tired injector over-fuelling, a faulty pressure sensor mis-reporting the load, or a crank sensor cutting regens short will all block a DPF no matter how far you drive.
That is why our first step is never the blowtorch, the chemical flush or the guessed part. We read the soot mass, the differential pressure and the regeneration history, and work out why this filter stopped coping. Sometimes the answer is a forced regeneration with live temperature monitoring, done on your driveway. Sometimes it is the underlying sensor or valve. And on vehicles where the filter has failed structurally, or blocks repeatedly despite everything, we will talk you through the software options and their implications honestly before any decision is made.
DPF trouble rarely travels alone — a soot-heavy engine is usually carrying an EGR problem too, and diesels with SCR often show AdBlue faults in the same visit. Because we handle all three systems, one call-out covers the lot.

DPF Solutions — Your Questions Answered
Frequent blocking usually points to an underlying cause — short journeys, failed regenerations, sensor faults or a related emissions issue. We diagnose the root cause rather than just forcing a regen.
