The Promise
Covered for the life of the vehicle
When we carry out the software fix we read and keep your vehicle’s original ECU files before anything is written. That backup is yours: it means the vehicle can always be returned to standard, and it is the record the warranty rests on.
The fix is warranted for the life of the vehicle, up to 20 years from the date of the work, which is longer than the average vehicle stays on the road. If the fault we fixed comes back in that time, the call-out and the re-fix are free. No labour charge, no travel charge, no arguing.
The warranty stays with the vehicle, not the owner. If you sell it, the next keeper is covered on the same terms; tell them to quote the registration when they call.

The Honest Bit
What it does not cover
We fix the AdBlue, SCR or NOx fault in the software. We do not fit or supply parts, so the warranty does not cover mechanical components: a NOx sensor, pump, injector, tank or heater that fails later is a new fault, not a return of the one we fixed.
It also does not cover work done on the ECU by anyone else after our visit, including dealer software updates that overwrite the fix, or a different fault with a different cause. Where that happens we diagnose it as a new job and quote before anything is done, and our file backup usually makes the re-fix quick.

Call or send the quote form with your registration and what the dash is showing. We look up the job, confirm it is the fault we fixed, and book the free call-out.
Your booking confirmation and invoice are the warranty record. We keep the original ECU files and the job notes against your registration.
That is not a return of the fault, so it is a new job. Because we keep your original files and our fix, putting it back is quick and we quote it before we travel.
