EGR Solutions

Complete Mobile EGR Solutions

EGR problems are one of the most common causes of rough running and engine management lights on modern diesels — and they often interact with the AdBlue and SCR systems too. Our EGR solutions start with proper electronic testing so we know whether the fault is electrical, mechanical or software-related.

From there we disable the EGR and clear the related fault codes with manufacturer-level tools, then confirm everything is resolved. Where a valve keeps failing or clogging, a permanent EGR delete is the longer-term answer, and we’ll say so if that’s the better route. As EGR and SCR systems are linked, we always check both. Every job is backed by our 100% guaranteed fix and lifetime warranty.

  • Thorough electronic EGR testing and diagnosis
  • EGR disable and fault-code clearing in software
  • We also check linked AdBlue/SCR faults
  • Clear, honest advice before any work begins
  • Fully mobile across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London

Your Options

EGR Faults: Repair It, Clean It, or Retire It?

Three honest options, three different price tags. Which one is right depends on the vehicle, the fault and how long you plan to keep it.

Sometimes an EGR code is not really an EGR problem. A split vacuum pipe, a lazy MAF sensor or a sticking throttle flap can all masquerade as valve trouble, and replacing the valve fixes none of them. Electronic testing tells us in minutes whether the valve itself is actually moving to command — which is why diagnosis comes first and parts come second, if at all.

Where the valve genuinely is the fault, you have a ladder of options. A clean can revive a valve that is sticky but serviceable — cheapest, but temporary if the engine’s driving pattern laid the soot down in the first place. A replacement resets the clock properly and is the right call on newer vehicles still under manufacturer goodwill. And where a vehicle is older, out of warranty, or on its second or third valve, the permanent answer is a software EGR delete — the ECU stops commanding the valve, the fault chain ends, and there is no next replacement.

We carry out all three, so the recommendation you get is based on the diagnosis, not on what we happen to sell. If the sums favour a £60 clean, that is the advice — and when they do not, we will show you why on the fault data.
