Brighton and Hove, BN1 and BN2
Down the A23, Onto Your Street
Our base sits at the top of the A23 in Crawley, and Brighton sits at the bottom, which makes the city one straight run for us. That single road is the reason a mobile visit to BN1 or BN2 works so well: no cross-country routing, just down the dual carriageway and into whichever street, mews or seafront square the car is parked in.
The other half of the story is how Brighton treats its diesels. Kemptown to the station is not far enough to warm an exhaust; Hanover’s hills and the seafront’s stop-start traffic do the rest. Trades vans, taxis and family cars here develop emissions faults that suburban mileage would never provoke, and dragging a limping car across the city to a garage, then finding somewhere to park while it waits for parts, is exactly the chore our service removes. The same van also works Horsham and the rest of the county from our Sussex coverage.
- Brighton, Hove and the seafront streets covered kerbside
- One direct A23 run from our base, no detours
- City-pattern faults diagnosed properly before anything is changed
- Guaranteed result, lifetime software warranty
City Driving, City Faults
What Urban Miles Do to a Diesel
Three failure patterns account for most of our Brighton callouts. Each one starts with the way the car is driven, not the way it is maintained.
A DPF That Never Regenerates
Particulate filters clean themselves on long, hot runs, and short city hops never provide one. Soot builds until the filter blocks. Our DPF solutions deal with the blockage and the cause at your kerb.
NOx Sensors That Give Up Early
Stop-start running cycles these fragile sensors hard, and a failed one triggers the same warnings as an empty tank. A NOx sensor delete ends the replace-and-repeat cycle for good.
A Countdown in City Traffic
Once the starts-remaining counter appears, every errand spends one. If it reaches zero the car will not restart, but we attend either side of lockout and clear the condition where the car is parked.

Brighton and Hove Questions, Answered
Yes. Brighton is the southern end of the A23 corridor our base sits on, so it is part of our regular coverage rather than an occasional stretch. The price quoted for your postcode includes the travel, agreed before we set off.
Usually, yes. We need to park close to the car for the duration of the visit, so a visitor permit, a pay-and-display bay nearby or a quieter time of day all solve it. Mention the parking situation when you book and we will plan around it together.
Very possibly. Short, cool journeys encourage AdBlue crystallisation and soot build-up, and they never give the system the sustained heat it needs to keep itself clean. If your driving pattern is not going to change, a software fix is the honest long-term answer, and we will confirm the diagnosis before recommending it.
Yes. Hove and the neighbouring coastal towns are covered along with BN1 and BN2, and the full list of everywhere we work is on our areas covered page. If you are anywhere along the coast, send your postcode and we will confirm.
